Iron Speed Designer creates Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010 web applications.
Iron Speed Designer simulates the Microsoft SharePoint development environment during development and
requires the Microsoft.SharePoint.DLL to be installed in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC). The
Microsoft SharePoint server is not required for development, but is required for deployment.
We strongly recommend you do not install both Iron Speed Designer and the Microsoft SharePoint server on
the same machine.
Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 SP1 and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 are required on your development
system to create the SharePoint Solution Package (WSP) needed for deployment.
Note:
(a) Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010 supports only .NET Framework 3.5 and will not function properly with .NET Framework 4.0.
(b) SQL Server Compact Edition: only version 4.0 is supported.

There are additional requirements if the development machine also has a database
